Your shortlist

Saved course codes stay in your browser’s local storage. There is no account or cloud shortlist. You can remove courses in Saved courses, or clear this site’s browser storage. Private browsing and clearing storage can remove your shortlist.

Optional analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, CAO Finder loads Google Analytics using measurement ID G-8GYZN8Z85Y. It measures page visits, course searches, filters, course views, saves and college-link clicks so we can improve the site. Course interactions may include public course codes, college identifiers, result counts and category names. Calculator tracking records completion, without sending your grades or points.

Our tracking code does not send typed search text, names or email addresses. Google Analytics also processes browser/device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. This is not a claim that analytics is anonymous. Google may process data outside Ireland. See Google’s explanation of data from partner sites.

No Google Analytics script is loaded before you accept. Rejecting does not affect course search, filters, the calculator or saving courses. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration.

Change your choice

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Reject analytics stops future tracking and clears this site’s accessible Google Analytics cookies; the page reloads if needed. This does not delete information already processed by Google.

Your consent choice is stored locally for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Clearing browser storage resets your choice. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts for the current page only.

Hosting and external sites

GitHub Pages hosts this website and may process connection information when serving pages. See GitHub’s privacy statement. College and CAO links open separate websites with their own privacy practices.
